In this episode, I respond to a parent who is burned out after two years of helping her child through an eating disorder. She wants to do better, but needs help. I address this through the analogy of the oxygen masks on an airplane. Worldwide, airplanes carry a very specific message for mothers: put your own mask on before assisting your child with theirs. I talk through what burnout is, why we get it, and what we can do to feel better.
